Devolution, votes at 16, water charges, health and social care, education and the economy were all debated at the annual Workers’ Party Northern Ireland conference on 25th October.
Delegates from across Northern speakers including Breedagh Hughes of the Royal College of Midwives; UNITE union organiser Davy Kettyles, Marie Stopes NI director, Dawn Purvis, and Eoin McCrea of the Board of Governors Hazelwood Integrated College.
Lowry, said: “Our party’s conference differs in a style and manner to other parties in Northern Ireland in that debate is focused on the class nature of society and the implications that has for every aspect of our lives: social, economic, cultural and political”.
