On Saturday 7th November over 200 people attended an exhibition organised by the Cabra 1916 Rising Committee.
The committee was established earlier this year with the aim of commemorating the Rising in the local area.
Cabra residents with links to the Rising were encouraged to share their memories and primary school students to contribute their artistic visions of 1916.
A book on the impact of the Rising in Cabra and Phibsborough (Dublin 7), researched by historians Brian Hanley (pictured) and Donal Fallon, was also launched at the event.
